The @brandthink CNY Dinner

Yesterday night, the team had the long-awaited Chinese New Year dinner at one of the chinese banquet eateries in the Gardens. It was long awaited because normally, we would have it before the start of CNY, but with people missing and traveling, it was scheduled to be a “Start of the new Year” dinner instead.

It was an evening of good food, good company and ang paos all around!

The (literal) hunger games

Among our group, we devoured two silky smooth big fishes, a handful of golden-fried tofu puffs, a slab of garlic-infused tender cow, a whole aromatic duck, a troop of springy prawns and some unidentifiable green stuff for nutrition purposes.

Quackity-Quack

For prosperity purposes, we started the meal with a salmon yee sang toss. Yee sang is a unique fish salad that’s tossed as high as possible by as many people as possible to create the biggest mess on the table as possible! (The mess created represents the amount of money you’ll have in the coming new year- overflowing everywhere!)

Huat ah!

How was your yee sang toss?
