Payless ShoeSource Malaysia Opening

First of many outlets

Mr. Mike Capper and Mr. Dirk Boerma opening the store

The Payless ShoeSource opening in Sunway Pyramid on 1.11.11 was a low-key store launch, where media and guests came to see the first Payless store step foot into Malaysia (hehe, pun!). Our team was given the task of media relations for the launch event, so there we were, hosting our media friends and bloggers (hi folks!), practically eager to see the store open so we can try some shoes! (You can never have enough shoes)

Something for everyone!

Payless is the largest specialty family footwear retailer in the Western Hemisphere – they have shoes for everyone in the family. It is estimated that 90% of American women frequent Payless stores!

Payless also works with some of the brightest stars in the American fashion industry to come up with special collections. In stores now is the Christian Siriano (of Project Runway fame) for Payless. Love ‘em!

Like a supermarket for shoes....a dream come true!

The layout and arrangement feels like a factory huh? I don’t know about you, but the utilitarian/industrial feel of the store appeals to me. I like that the shoes are all in order and sorted to size and pattern. Now that’s what I call a unique shopping experience!

  1. Found it difficult to get size 10 shoes. Thank you for payless shoes, I can wear beautiful shoes at my size. Bought a beautiful scarf today and would be visiting payless shoes very soon.
